When you visit us, the first thing you may notice is how interested in you we are. This is the foundation of our Patient–Centered ApproachSM. Our audiologists and certified professionals are trained to put your personal needs first. That means they take more time to listen up front to be sure we get you the best possible care.
There are many types of hearing loss and many different lifestyles, that's why we find out as much about you as we can. For instance, in which kinds of situations are you finding hearing difficult? This informs our decision in how to provide you the best treatment.
We will then perform a free initial screening*.
If it confirms that you do have hearing loss, a comprehensive hearing evaluation is then recommended to identify the type and extent of hearing loss. This evaluation is needed to understand your degree of hearing loss and how to address it. The results of the hearing evaluation will produce what is called an audiogram, a chart that visually represents what type of hearing loss you have. To read more about audiograms visit the how to read an audiogram page.
We will then explain the audiogram. Combined with our knowledge of your lifestyle, your needs, and the nature of your hearing loss, we will recommend the right hearing solution for you.
Continuing our Patient–CenteredSM Approach, we will also discuss with you our Sonus SolutionsSM packages, which includes industry-leading ongoing care for up to three years—so you can enjoy your improved hearing with peace of mind.
